|Best Seller- Dr Foot's Sport Insoles (pair)|
The ideal insoles for complete foot support, comfort, correct posture and mechanics.
Dr Foot's insole is a unique foot support system intended to help relieve over pronation, while preventing foot strain and injury.
A full-length, prescription like arch support prevents and treats over pronation. The result: control for feet rolling inward (over pronation), which can pull the entire lower body out of alignment.
Dr Foot's Sport Insoles provide extra longitudinal support and cushioning for runners, plus lateral support for tennis, football and aerobics. Forefoot extensions prevent movement of the insert, which is important during sporting activities. A special fabric cover reduces slippage and heat, helping keep feet drier.
Differences between Dr Foot Sports Insoles and Dr Foot Work Insoles
Dr Foot Sports Insoles have a firmer arch support than the Dr Foot Work Insoles. Both type of Insoles control over pronation and re-align the feet to treat foot and leg pain. The sports insoles can be used during sporting activities and to treat painful foot and leg conditions. The work insoles provide comfort and relief for people who are on their feet all day, standing and walking on hard surfaces. Both insoles can be worn in normal shoes and sports shoes and they fit best when the insole already present in the shoe is removed and replaced by the Dr Foot Insole.
The insole is retailed in three different sizes and needs to be trimmed using the guidelines provided on the base of the insoles for an exact fit.
*Identify the left and right insoles. Turn the insoles over and place them on a flat surface with toes facing away from you.
*If a manufacturer insole is already in the shoe, remove it. If you desire, you can use this as a template to assist in cutting.
*Using a sharp pair of scissors, carefully trim the base of the insoles along the guidelines one line at a time.
*Place the insole in the shoe and if the insole is not a perfect fit, trim the next guideline until your Dr Foot Insoles fit perfectly.
Insoles have been used for years to help people with foot pain. Traditionally when we think of insoles or orthotics we think of a hard plastic insert that is placed in the shoe. It cups the heel and supports the arch but it is not flexible and it does not extend the full-length of the foot. This tends to make this type of orthotic uncomfortable and ineffective for many people. It also repositions the arch using "brute force" but because it is not flexible it forces the arch into its correct position but does nothing to relieve the pressure that is forcing the arch to collapse, causing the foot or leg pain in the first place.
This type of hard plastic orthotic can actually cause increased pain in patients, which is the reason why we have recommended the Dr Foot Insoles for the treatment of over pronation and foot pain. They provide a flexible yet incredibly supportive and stable treatment.
"I love the Dr Foot Sports Insoles! I am an avid runner, with over-pronation and a family history of foot and leg pain. The Dr Foot Sports Insoles make running possible for me. I've tried many other insoles and none of them work as well as Dr Foot. I'm currently training for my second marathon, and my Dr. Foot Sports Insoles are protecting me from injury. Thank you!"
"I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Foot's Sport Insoles to anyone with low arches or flat feet. They are ideal for walking around the city, but also for running, cycling and hill walking. I had avoided walking even short distances as my knees and ankles ached. Within one week of wearing the sport insoles I was so much more comfortable - it was amazing the difference the insoles made."
Ms Sophie Bennet, UK
"As you could imagine, enduring long hours on a gym on a particularly hard treadmill it can be a strain on your legs as well as your feet. I find these insoles very absorbing and comfortable and recommend them to any sports fanatic or anybody who plays sport."

"I would just like to thank you. I have suffered with my right foot for over 12 months not knowing what the problems were.
Then earlier this year my left foot began to cause great pain too the point I had to stop playing football and Golf some 3 months ago. I was getting desperate to the point I went to hospital, but to be honest they did not want to know.
My foot problems were driving me mad and making me miserable. I then looked on the net for a solution to the problem when I came across your website.
Having read the info on foot problems I could identify with the symptoms.
I immediately ordered your sport insoles which I have been wearing for 3 weeks now.
All I can say is that I played football last week for the first time in 3 months and I am playing golf again, the results have been amazing.

"I had been experiencing pain in my ankles and the balls of my feet for 18 months, at 48 years of age; I had assumed the pain was due to old age and too much sport when I was younger. The pain was at its worst when I was playing golf or walking in my business shoes. I had wasted a fortune buying different pairs of both golf and business shoes, I had also tried many different insoles in my shoes, none provided any relief. I was at a point where I could no longer complete a round of golf, let alone compete.
I decided to do some research on the Internet and came across the Dr Foot website, although sceptical, I decided to buy a pair of Dr Foots work insoles and for my golf shoes, Dr Foots sports insoles. The results are amazing; over a three week period wearing the insoles in my business shoes and golf shoes the pain gradually eased and has now completely gone. I then conducted my own experiment and decided to wear my business shoes without the insoles for a day, the pain returned within hours; luckily I brought the insoles with me and popped back into my shoes.
The Dr Foot insoles are magic; I am buying a pair for all of my shoes."

"Dr Foot Sports Insoles give your feet proper arch support, helping to prevent over pronation. The use of insoles reduces the muscle activity of the lower leg, feels more comfortable and improves performance."
Runners World Magazine, November 2008 edition
"I have just received my insoles and they are fantastic, already I can feel the difference and its the first day, I did not need to wear them for two hours, I wore them all day, and my feet and ankles felt brilliant all day, I have been really suffering of late, as I roll over like your diagram.
I used to go to the Bio-Mechanics section for Orthotics at my local hospital, but I believe they have stopped the service and I have suffered ever since.
I bought your insoles, but did not want to risk ordering the two pairs for £40, as did not know if they would suit, I now wish I had, is there anyway I could order a second pair now and take advantage of that discount, or is it too late, as I can see I will be moving them from one pair of shoes to the other as they are so brilliant.
Many thanks for the speedy delivery and your wonderful product. "

"Have received my order this morning and am very pleased with the comfort of the insoles. May I also say how impressed we (my wife and I) are with your excellent service. I am thinking of placing an order for more insoles."

"I'm a football referee and found it extremely difficult running as I felt a lot of pain in my achilles which is the reason i was medically discharged from the army. Since trying your insoles I have been extremely happy. They really do work, they take a little time to feel the benefits but now I'm constantly wearing them they are doing just the job and I'm feeling no pain at all. Thank you very much"
Mr Wallace, UK
"I recently bought two sets of insoles, one for myself and one for my wife. I am sending you this email because I wanted you to know how much better my calves are after using the 'Sports Insoles' . The insoles have reduced vibration and I feel I am running on a cushion when in fact I am really running on hard surfaces - they are that good!
I would recommend these sports insoles to serious runners and those who run for fun. I read some testimonials before I bought my insoles and was slightly surprised by the very favourable comments because I didn't think an insole could make such a difference but it does!

"Having over pronating feet is bad enough, but when I sprained my ankle earlier this year because of wearing inappropriate and ill fitting shoes, I decided the time had come to find a solution.
That solution has been Dr Foot's sports insoles. The difference they have made is incredible. Not only am I now pain free, but my fitness levels are improving daily.
So thank you Dr Foot for this great product.
PS - Also bought a pair for my husband & he's delighted as well."

"I have been using the Dr Foot Sports Insoles now for about 9 months with great success for my heel pain. They have made such a difference.
I run on average, about 2-3 times a week for a distance of 3 miles each time (on the road).
