Hi I was wondering if you could help me.
Ive only recently realised that I have a foot neuroma, and had this since I was about 12 (now im 21). Ive read information about it and discovered I have the mortons toe where my 2nd toe is longest on both my feet. My question is (though it will sound stupid) id there a way to shorten the 2nd toe or extend the big toe? Because it is affecting my life style and restricting me doing the things I want to

Thank you for your help

Much appreciated

A mortons toe (2nd toe larger than 1st) does not necessarily mean that you will gee a mortons neuroma (swelling of a nerve. The nerve commonly affected is a small nerve that connects the 3rd and 4th toes). You may be better off treating the swelling of the nerve with insoles, pads or surgery rather than shortening the 2nd toe.
