I posted a while back about my planter faciitis.  The doctor did figure out I had a pinched nerve in my heal.  OWIE!

My question now is that my calf and Achilles tendon (hope thats spelled right) even with stretching and warm compresses is getting tight.  I had twins almost 2 years ago and have had tight tendons and muscles over my entire body since.

My babies were worth all this but I can't help thinking that I will never feel normal again.

Any suggestions?

All you can really do is to stretch the calf using different exercises and use heel lifts in your shoes (view the spenco heel pads in our shopping section) to reduce tension on the calf.

Do the stretches below 5-6 times a day

1. Wall Pushup #1

Stand about three feet from a wall, feet at shoulder width and flat on the ground. Put your hands on the wall with your arms straight for support. Lean your hips forward and bend your knees slightly to stretch your calves.

2. Wall Pushup #2

From the previous position, bend forward to lower your body to waist height. Bring one foot forward with your knee slightly bent. Lift the toes of the front foot to stretch the muscle under the calf. Stretch both legs.
