I was just wondering why i should see a podiatrist for my annual foot check up if my feet are healthy but wouldn't a doctor physician tell me if i should see a podiatrist if he finds something wrong.

A podiatrist has spent 3-4 years studying all the possible foot conditions that a patient may experience. Were as a doctor may have only spent a few weeks a med school about foot conditions. If you are a diabetic or have poor circulation then you should have an annual check up otherwise you can visit your podiatrist only when you have a specific concern.
