I got a blister above my heel/ankle area from not wearing pantyhose with my shoes about a week and a half ago. It has not healed and seems to have gotten worse. I am in alot of pain and swelling has begun on my entire foot. What should a do? I have tried cleaning it regularly and have put band-aids on it and still no relief. I do not have diabetes . Is there something else I can try?

If the ankle is beginning to swell than you may have an infection present. Visit you doctor for some antibiotic cream and possibly even a short course of oral antibiotics. Keep the area clean with a dry dressing.
