For the last few months I have been experiencing pain primarily in the left foot but sometimes it occurs on both.  It is located on the underside in the center between the arch and the middle toes.  It comes and goes, is often only prevelant when I walk outside but recently is persisting through the day.  It is tender to pressure.  Got any ideas?

Is it more painful when you first rise in the morning and after periods of rest?
