My aunt is 81 years old.  She has collapsed arches and arthritc feet and she spends time every day crying due to the pain.  She still enjoys going on her outings but her foot pain is making it nearly impossible for her to do this anymore.  After an outing she is in agony and can barely take a step.  Every step is excruciating to her.  What can she do?  The doctor has given her vioxx for inflammation and her feet can't fit into ANY shoes properly because they both bend outward at the front of the foot.  For example the left foot curves left and the right forefoot curves to the right.  Please help.  Thanks

Your aunt need tailor made shoes as it appears that the arthritis has seriously affected the shape of her feet.
