I used to play basketball for many years and I got my feet and toenails hurt many times. My big toe nails are light yellow, and they became thick. Some other smaller toe nails became thick and uneven. They are sensitive as well. I can no longer go for trekking or play basketball, because of the pain and the hematoma I get very easily every time I do this. It seems like fungal infection but the laboratory result was negative both times I did the microbiological test. What else may be?

judging by your description, yellowish and flaky nails, its a fungal infection. a toe fungus. try using Fungusil or Zerofungus Oxyfend. it works in about 2 weeks, your nail will be back to normal. i tried it back then when i had the same condition as you. try it. hope your foot gets well!

Hello,

Paranoychia or onychomycosis are most often seen in toenail fungus infections. Although a mild infection in the early stages may cause little to no discomfort, with the only visible symptoms being toenail discoloration, black or thick toenails and crumbling of the nails it is absolutely essential for you to begin toenail fungus treatment immediately. The treatment of toenail fungus with tea tree oil or toenail fungus home remedies can help significantly in these early stages but these home remedies are no substitute for medical treatment as the results vary greatly. For an effective toenail fungus cure it would be best to employ a combination of medical treatments and toenail fungus home remedies.
