Dr. Foot,

Can I use a bunion regulator to prevent bunions? I do not have them currently, but have noticed some bending in my toe and some slight discomfort depending on the shoes I wear. I have also heard that you are more prone to them if others in your family have them, so I'm looking for something preventative.
