For the last few weeks I have been experiencing a strange buring and aching pain in the the ball of foot when excercising. The pain is on the bottom and top of the foot just under the toes and radiates down the right side of my right foot. Any ideas what can be causing this or how to prevent it.

Thanks for the reply. Last week I bought an insert for my shoe and yesterday when I went hiking, which is when I also feel the pain it was better. Then later in the day I put on a pair of sneakers that did not have the insert and I felt the pain again.
