This might sound quite complicated so bare with me here (appologising for spelling mistakes now)..
After doing a lot of standing up or especially walking the arches of my feet become very sore to the point where I have to walk on the outer edge of my foot to walk at all.
The pain vaires between two levels of pain.
When I've been doing relitivley small amounts of walking/standing my arches simlpy become sore. It is painful to move onto the balls of my feet and stretch the arch 'flat'.
After a lot of walking/standing my arches become sore, swollen and often feels like something is moving around in the arches of my feet. Im no doctor and dont pretend to be anywhere near the truth but it feels to me as if one of the bones in my arch is dislocating with each step.
I've tried to work out if I have high arches or not but can't quite decide. When sitting down the arches appear quite high but as soon as I put weight on my feet they immedietly roll inwards and leave next to no arches.
Anyone got any suggestions on pain relief/prevention as I have a gold Duke of Edinburgh hike to go and it was a serious problem on my first and has only got worse since. |
