Hi
I dont know what it is I have got, there hasnt been a diagnosis. I was born with growths-hard skin on the whole of my sole on my foot. I have been regularly getting laser treatment since I was little. This takes the growth and the pain away for a few months but it grows back and the pain is more chronic. I am taking painkillers constantly and have had to stop working. It is more frustrating not knowing what it is or how I can treat it properly. It is becoming very painful that I am not sleeping and taking painkillers more often than I should. I am even considering amputation. I hope you know what it is I have got and can help me in the future.
Thanks
Penny |

| They have never been diagnosed. But I have been to have laser treatment on it frequently. I was born with it all over the sole of my feet. |

| that's strange! I would did never do laser treatment on a lesion i could not diagnose! the condition must be quite rare if it is congenital, do you have any other congential condtions that have been diagnosed? I can think of a few conditions that can cause hyperpigmentation and other types of growths but this should have been picked up by a senior dermatologist would have discussed treatment options. Palliative care such as comfort insoles will help reduce the associated pain. |
