Hello following my post re 3rd metarsal, my dr has just advised me that the bone is growing but not joining together, has anyone had this before and if so what treatment, l am still in a walking moon boot cast for 3 more weeks - my gp advises against surgery but what are the alternatives on a fractured 3rd metarsal that the bone will not join together
