Dr Foot Discussion

Hi,

For the last week or so I have been getting a sharp "burning" pain on the inside of my left foot just above the heel and below the ankle joint. I tore my ligaments playing football last October and whilst I am back to walking and even jogging the ankle it still doesnt feel fully recovered and I feel I am probably still compensating for it when walking up/down stairs and even running.

I'm going back to the doctors anyway but wondered if anyone had any thoughts on what could be causing this pain? It is at its worst when i straighten my leg and pull my foot upwwards stretching the muslces in the back of the leg....
