Hey all, during a soccer match i got injured on my right great toe. It has since been 8 month since my injury even though I was told it would take 6 - 8 weeks to recover on it's own, so i went back to my family doctor to inform him it still didn't fully heal so he went ahead refereed me to specialist which I got more Xray done and this was there findings below. Since i didn't get a change to talk with the specialist with the findings after they took the Xray I was wondering if you all can help me understand what's this all means and what step i should take to get back to normal.

"indication fracture distal phalanx right great toe. There is a suggestion of an old healed fracture involving the medial aspect the base of the distal phalanx of the great toe. No acute fracture line is seen. Articular margin are congruent. Degenerative arthritis seen in the first the metatarsal phalangeal joint. Normal first metatarsal phalangeal angle. Mild hammertoe deformities i seen in the second to the fifth the toes. No other significant abnormality demonstrated."
