Hello
My son was born with club foot (left foot only) and was casted for three month before the achillies op and then cast for another 6 weeks. he has since had the markell boots which he didnt take to because of blisters and sores. He now has mitchells which I admit are much better in quality but my son will not tolerate them for long periods of time. he is now 13 month and walking but he walks with his foot almost curled and on the side. the hospital have seen this and say just to keep going with the boots and bar!
Is this something to worry about?
I have had proper shoes fitted from clarks and you can only tell he has something wrong if you know.... he walks slightly on the back/outer side of his foot, he doesn't fall anymore than a normal footed child and the foot is usually pointed out like his normal foot!
Any advice would be appreciated as i seem to constantly worry.
Thank you |
