I have just noticed that the "half moon" on my left big toe is slightly raised and i can feel it if i touch it with my finger.I can't recall knocking my toe or banging it in any way so does this point to some other problem? All the other toenails on both feet are ok.Any help or advice welcome.Thank you.

May be Koilonychia which is usually caused through iron deficiency anemia. These nails show raised ridges and are thin and concave. Seek a physicians advice and treatment
