hi, i fell down just one step and my foot and ankle swelled immediately the hospital took xray and said it was either a torn ligament or snapped tendon and would be fine in about 6 weeks, it's now 8 weeks later and altho i can walk and is no where near as bad as it was it's still bruised and swollen will i just leave it to heal or need to go to gp for treatment? thank you
