Last year I was diagnosed with Posterior Tibial Tendonitis(PTT) with both feet. I have gone from cast, boot, to ankle brace to tennis shoes with specialized orthodics and 3 rounds of physical therapy! After a year it had finally calmed down on the lft foot, that I was confortable. But the rt foot has gone from severe to mild to severe and now the lft is starting up again! What a viscious cycle. I don't understand it, I am off my feet alot. I have been recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia & Osteaoarthritis(rt hand) I'm wondering if that is causing the flare up. I really don't want to tell me orthopedic dr that it started up for fear of surgery if its just the fibromyalgia flaring. I have also had great pain in both of the arches of my feet. What do you think? What could I do to help from a huge flare and start all over?

| Fibromyalgia is a disorder that typically presents after a period of inactivity, a muscle of group of muscles become tender and painful. So if you have been off you feet for some time this may explain the flare up. Comfortable yet supportive orthotics would be suitable. |
