Crying or Very sad Sad Well my big toe is alot shorter than my second toe and it is quite embarrassing. I've been teased alot about it especially from family. I have a big problem with wearing open toe shoes and prom is coming up and i want to wear some cute shoes....I really dont know what to do, I think someone is always staring at my feet when i wear open toe shoes its so embarrassing. I think about surgery alot but my mom keeps telling me that there is really nothing that i can do about it. It's almost depressing in the summer time, I often wish that my feet were not like this, but i dont know what to do. Another issue i think about is showing my feet to my boyfriend......OH BOY!!!
I feel for you, this must be very embarrassing. Unfortunately your mother is right; there is not much you can do. You may wish to consider surgery when you are in you 20's but this can cause complications which may cause pain in the joint. You just need to be very selective in the shoes you wear.

hello naypook... try either growing your big toe nail extra long to give the impression that it is the same length as your second toe..or even go for a false nail - your big toe will always be shorter but with a beautifully painted longer nail.. it'll give the impression that it is the same.
